Un-published Author

This is how I'm feeling and how I am referring to myself at the moment. So as of right now, my books are no longer available. Thankfully, this is only a temporary condition.

It all started several months ago. Feeling like I was in limbo, I began to think about asking for my rights back from my publisher. It wasn't a decision I took lightly. I thought about my options, chatted with author friends who had made the leap I was about to make, and finally made up my mind.

On January 23 I sent an email to request my rights. It took some time, but they were finally returned to me on February 14.

It's a little scary being un-published and feels like I am starting over. However, I do have another publisher and will let you know the details when I begin this new chapter in my authoring journey.
