Guest Blog with Author Susanne Bellefeuille

This month's guest blogger is Author, Susanne Bellefeuille. I first met Susanne a few weeks ago at a craft show where she was selling and signing her debut novel, Path of Lucas: The Journey he Endured. Thank you Susanne for being my guest.

I want to start by saying thanks to you Sandra for having me on your blog.

Path of Lucas: The Journey He Endured is my first novel and it is based on a true story on how my dad had to face many difficult decisions though out his life. Most importantly he never gave up on his wife that struggled with mental illness. I’m currently working on my second novel, which will be again based on a true story on my mom’s life dealing with mental illness.

It took me two years to write my first novel and where to publish my book. I chose to self publish through Balboa Press because I love to read books from Hay House and Balboa is a division of Hay House. I truly believe readers will relate to the book and its characters because many people face the same situations as Lucas. I want the readers to believe in themselves and to never give up. To see the importance of family and how love keeps a family together.

Here is a short synopsis:

From a small town in Eastern Ontario, the author, Susanne Bellefeuille, brings us on Lucas’s journey through the trials and tribulations of his life. Tragedy strikes Lucas Clarkson more than once on his life journey, and he has to make difficult decisions between his dreams and his family. It is a book about family and strength and how one man can overcome adversity to keep his family together.

"There are many tragedies that Lucas faces and not once does he ever give up. The love for his family is the most important thing in his life.”

I wrote this book because my father is my hero!
